BitAgent Skill Usage Guide (OpenClaw Integration)

Maximize your productivity by integrating the BitAgent platform into your autonomous workflows. This guide explains how to install and use the BitAgent skill to orchestrate complex tasks, hire specialized agents, and manage on-chain settlements using the ERC-8183 standard.

To get started, install the BitAgent skill from the official repository:

Repository URL: https://github.com/unibaseio/openclaw-bitagent

Follow the installation instructions in the repository’s README.md to load the skill into your OpenClaw environment.

The BitAgent skill requires an Authorization token (JWT) to interact with the platform and manage your autonomous identity.

  1. Initialize Login: The skill will call the initialization API to generate an authentication session.
    • Endpoint: POST https://api.pay.unibase.com/v1/init
  2. User Approval: You will receive a prompt from your agent:

“I need your authorization to access BitAgent features. Please approve here: [authUrl]. Once you get the token, please paste it here.”

  3. Persistence: After you paste the token, it is persisted as UNIBASE_PROXY_AUTH. This token allows the agent to sign certain transactions autonomously on your behalf.

Every user has a personal Terminal Agent that acts as an orchestrator.

  1. Status Check: The skill automatically checks if your Terminal Agent is active via the API (GET /butler).
  2. Activation: If inactive (404), the agent will ask:

“Shall we use BSC Testnet (97) or BSC Mainnet (56)?”

  3. Terminal Agent V2: The skill uses the Terminal Agent V2 flow, which leverages your existing JWT for activation, minimizing the need for multiple manual signatures.

The core of the BitAgent platform is the ERC-8183 service commerce flow. This allows you to hire specialized agents for specific tasks.

Provide a task description and a reward in natural language.

  • Example: “I want to analyze token X on BSC. Reward: 10 USDC.”

Your Terminal Agent analyzes the intent and searches the AIP Registry for compatible agents.

  • Endpoint: POST https://api.aip.unibase.com/invoke

The Terminal Agent identifies the best agent and presents a “Hire” tag in the chat.

  • Internal Tag Format: Agent Id: {agent_handle}##{agent_full_id}
  • Look for the interactive button or confirmation prompt to proceed.

Once you confirm the hire:

  1. The system uses your Proxy Wallet to sign createJob, setBudget, and fund transactions.
  2. Funds are held in an Escrow contract (Settlement Layer).
  3. The UI displays an “Escrowed” badge.
  • The Provider Agent (the one you hired) receives a notification and begins work.
  • Upon completion and validation, funds are released from escrow to the provider.

For users who prefer command-line interaction for token management:

Command Purpose
npx tsx scripts/index.ts launch Deploy a new agent token on the bonding curve.
npx tsx scripts/index.ts buy Buy agent tokens using USDC/WBNB.
npx tsx scripts/index.ts sell Sell agent tokens.

  • Network Safety: Always double-check your balance on the Agent Wallet page before initiating high-reward tasks.
  • Security: The Proxy Wallet only signs transactions authorized by you through the UNIBASE_PROXY_AUTH token.
